"The best holiday club ever!"

When it comes to booking childcare for your children, look no further than us. We offer high quality and reliable childcare in the form of our holiday club. Our focus is always on putting the needs of the child first, providing a creative and flexible environment that allows them to thrive. Our activities are designed to be outdoors whenever possible, giving children the chance to explore and learn in a natural setting. Trust us to provide your child with a safe and enriching experience during their time with us.

What we can do to support your child in our care:

We understand how to build the emotional foundations that children and young people need to thrive, be mentally healthy and learn successfully. This includes having resilience and self-confidence, being able to handle difficult situations and manage their own feelings; as well as being aware of the kinds of things that affect – and improve – their mental health.

We build confident, open, healthy and trusting relationships with the children to help them feel safe. Positive relationships with a trusted adult are an important protective factor for children, helping them thrive, remain resilient and learn effectively.

We offer activities that are more likely to engage your child, we have the freedom to think more creatively than in a school-based environment and we use interactive strategies that maintain their interest and help them feel that they belong.

Many studies have shown the positive impact of outdoor learning on mental health. Just being outside for prolonged periods, boosts the immune system and improves physical and mental health. Prolonged contact with a natural outdoor environment has been shown to give huge benefits in physical activity (motor function and competencies) and child behaviours (cooperative play, social behaviour) in children from preschool to primary school and adolescents.

Hence we spend a lot of time outside!!

"The only club he is happy to come to!"
Parent, August 2024

. I was highly impressed with how flexible they were, they tailored the sessions to match the interests of the children.

I would highly recommend them.

WHAT WE DO

We run high quality holiday childcare throughout the state and independent school breaks.

At our clubs, children spend maximum time outside, exploring the world around them and engaging with nature.

We encourage them to build and climb, be active and curious, to explore and care for their environment and improve their resilience.

Our aim is to bring back 'old-fashioned' play and fun; from making petal potions and rolling down hills to cardboard box imagination and making bases in the woods.

We include arts and crafts and sports for well-rounded and varied provision plus opportunities to learn bushcraft skills such as flint and steel and whittling.

Spaces are limited to ensure high adult-child ratios and allow all children to thrive.

Using curriculum topics to theme our days, we deliver learning through exploration and immersion in the topic.

For example:

We're Going on A Bear Hunt!

as a springboard for Science and English in Early Years

Stone Age Day

 with tool crafting and cooking!

To gain chronological understanding, changes and continuity and use historical enquiry through practical immersion.

The Hike

Featuring a sensory walk and mini book creation - inspiring writers in Key Stage 1!

These can be whole days or half day workshops, based at one of our outdoor learning sites or at your school.

We are always happy to discuss topic and theme ideas to create a bespoke package for your group.
